Blueberry Cardamom Sauce

This wonderfully luscious and versatile sauce is a slow-food superstar. Use it to add an additional special touch pancakes, pies, ice cream or cakes!

–  Blueberries –  Granulated sugar –  Kosher salt –  Cardamom –  Cold water or orange liqueur –  Cornstarch



Clean and de-stem the blueberries.

Add blueberries, sugar, cardamom, and salt to a medium saucepan.

Step 3

Heat the mixture over medium-low heat for 35-40 minutes, stirring every 5-7 minutes to avoid burning.
